The first leg of the Telkom Netball League (TNL) ended with a stunning display of showmanship and power moves on the court. The North West Flames staged a remarkable comeback, emerging victorious, clinching the bragging rights as the champions in a nail-biting match against the Eastern Cape Aloes in the final game off power week one, on 4 May at the Sun City Super Bowl.
TNL is a premier semi-professional netball competition, organised by Netball South Africa and proudly sponsored by Telkom. It’s the home of 16 teams from the nine provinces in a lineup that embodies athletic prowess, teamwork, and resilience. The 2025 TNL season introduced to the lineup the SPAR Baby Proteas and Zambezi Eagles as preparation to the Netball World Youth Cup in September 2025. TNL Power Week 1 was a testament to standing tall, both on and beyond the court.
