Pull up. Power up. Deals for days.

Comic Con Cape Town 2026 drags gaming out of the chat, buffs it to the max and drops you into the chaos – quests, big plays and epic loot, powered by Telkom.

Comic Con Cape Town 2026: Where play comes to life.

From 30 April to 3 May 2026, the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC 2) becomes the home of gaming, fandom and next-level fun as Comic Con Cape Town returns for its fourth annual run, bringing together the people, passions and pop culture moments that usually live online. If your chats are full of gameplay clips, hot takes and “Did you see that?” reactions, this is where it all levels up IRL (in real life).

What makes Comic Con a hit is the community. Gaming culture often happens in streams, servers and late-night party chats, so there’s something special about meeting up in person. Whether you’re new to the experience, a day-one grinder or just there for the vibe, there’s a place for you on this map.

Get your loadout sorted

Before the cosplay, the showdowns and the shopping, there’s the set-up behind the set-up. Telkom’s role at Comic Con Cape Town is all about powering play – from connectivity and entertainment to on-site experiences that keep the energy up.

For gamers, streamers, students and binge-watchers, fibre connectivity is a big part of the loadout. Telkom will spotlight a special fibre plan price of R399, along with Core Fibre for R695.

The first 250 new fibre customers on 50Mbps and above can also score a Tapo solar camera valued at around R1 500. (Exclusions apply, including Prepaid Fibre and Easy Connect Fibre plans.)

So, gear up for a Smart Home with Telkom Fibre, or Telkom LTE, which keeps things moving when you’re away from home, with unlimited data options.

Start the quest

This year’s theme, “Gaming in real life”, turns Comic Con into more than a walk-through. Across the venue, Telkom promoters will hand out physical quest cards and send fans on simple challenges across the floor. Hit the right zones, complete the missions, collect stamps and badges, and build your progress as you go. The more you engage, the more loot you unlock: prize entries, and a shot at the grand draw.

That same energy flows into Telkom’s on-site space. The Smart Home stand brings connected living into view with a live TP-Link camera feed demo, fibre and LTE content loops, demonstrating how connectivity fits into everyday life.

Where the action goes live

For fans who want the competitive side of The Con, head to the VS Gaming footprint on Level 2. E-Diski takes centre stage on EA FC, played on PlayStation 5 consoles with Samsung G5 screens and backed by casters Snare and Tendo.

Free-to-play zones keep things open for everyone else, so even if you’re not entering the bracket, you can still get hands-on, test your skills and enjoy the moment. One clean play and the crowd goes full POG (play of the game). Miss your shot? Skill issue. Reset and run it back.

More than just the main stage

Comic Con isn’t only about gameplay: Cosplayers arrive fully buffed, Artist Alley brings the creative community into focus, and tabletop gaming offers a slower, more strategic pace for fans who like to min-max every move.

Then there’s Telkom Plus on the MyTelkom App – a zero-rated entertainment platform with subscriptions from R3 to R5. It brings together games, sport, videos, music and lifestyle content in one place, so the fun doesn’t end when you leave the venue.
