Accessing the help that you need
At the top left of your screen, click on the drop down arrow labelled ‘Help’.
You can browse through the Support Centre and Self Service menus to choose the category that you need to access to help in.
You will also be directed to our How to get help function and our virtual assistant.

What you can expect to find on this page:
If you’ve landed on the help guide, there is an array of services that you can access. You have the opportunity to see your billing information, check your network coverage, access services and cancellations, should you need it.
If you would prefer to interact with our virtual assistant function, that option is available to you. You can also explore some of our digital channels for self-help.
My Telkom App
The My Telkom App is available on Google Play and at the Apple App Store. Use it to top up, view balances, manage your account and upgrade..
SMS
Our SMS function allows you to check balances and usage and recharge your account, all by sending an SMS to the number 081 160 1820.
WhatsApp self service
Our WhatsApp self-service option gives you a wide range of access to information, so you can upgrade, recharge and shop deals. To prompt the process send a WhatsApp text to 0811 601 700.
Get help – troubleshoot
If you access the get help function, you get to enter your self-service number and access a wide range of popular self-help journeys.
Interactive Voice Response
If you would like to receive help via Interactive Voice Response, all you need to do is dial 081180 to manage your account or make changes.
Web self-service portal
If a web-based experience is your vibe, you can register on the Telkom Web Self-Service Portal. To streamline the process, you can use the same login details for the web self service option on My Telkom App, so that it’s from one online profile. Here you will be able to view your usage history, pay your bills and get a breakdown of your balances.
